Loans Underwriter
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Provides support to Branch Management by facilitating the establishment of documentation requirements on all approved applications that meet the standards set by internal and external guidelines.
Conducts thorough risk assessments on loan applications to determine eligibility for credit.
Prepares well-documented credit memos with detailed assessments, presenting clear rationale for stated adjudications.
Approves or declines loans within the established lending authority.
Ensures all credit decisions comply with the Credit Union’s lending policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Monitors loans in order to determine early signs of delinquency

Finance Officer
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Supports the Chief Finance Officer in supervising the department’s operations; assists in the formulation and administration of policies.
Prepares income and expenditure and capital account entries and assists with investment management.
Contributes to the development of plans, budgets, forecasts, and financial results to guide management decisions.
Provides timely and accurate financial monitoring reports; recommends and implements corrective actions.
Supports the management of financial resources by monitoring the implementation of the Department’s work program.
Assists with the protection of assets by assisting with the establishment and management of credit policies and procedures; coordinates physical asset insurance coverage; maintains internal controls.

Marketing Assistant
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Assists in the accomplishment of the Marketing department’s operational objectives.
Collects, compiles and analyses data to recommend short-term and long-term strategic goals and objectives.
Assists with planning, developing and delivering the marketing and communication plans.
Assists with developing and monitoring the annual marketing plan and budget, analysing variances; recommending or initiating corrective actions.
Assists in the formulation and administration of policies to maintain the integrity of AffinityPlus.
Assists AffinityPlus with maintaining competitive advantage by researching and analyzing market trends, competitor offerings, demographics, and other information and making recommendations regarding marketing strategy.

Student Internships
From time to time, we offer Internships to young persons in order for them to gain valuable work force experience. We give preference to the young members of AffinityPlus Credit Union Ltd. but will consider applications from any persons over the age of 16 years. Internships usually take place in the summer months between June to August. If we are accepting applications for student interns there will be a link below to apply.

Job Search
Applicants can view our online listing of current career opportunities. There you will be able to see what positions are available, review the job descriptions as well as the qualifications which we are looking for.

Interviewing
Applicants will interview with the hiring Manager or a panel that includes the hiring Manager.
First interviews are an opportunity for us to review your work history, verify your information, ask questions as well as provide you with additional information about the position and our Organization. Typically, the first interview takes approximately 30-45 minutes. In addition, we may request some additional online or in-person testing as a part of the interview process.
Job Offers
Prior to extending a job offer, we will conduct reference checks, run a background check, and verify your education and employment. All offers are contingent upon a satisfactory background and reference check.
Acceptance
Upon your acceptance of a position, we will require a Police Certificate of Character as well as copies of your Certifications for our records.
