How It Works

  • Open a Save It & Win It S20 Challenge Account with as little as $100.

    • Come into branch, or complete our S20 Savings Challenge form to have a member experience representative contact you to open your account

    • Funds for the savings challenge cannot be transferred from another existing AffinityPlus Credit Union account

  • Save consistently throughout the challenge period (October 15, 2025 –October 31, 2026).

  • Earn 2.5% interest rate on the funds in your challenge account.

  • Hit the savings targets and qualify for the prize draws and cash bonuses!

    • Save $1,000 by April 30, 2026 → Get an automatic $50 Credit Union (CU) Cash bonus and enter the mid-point draw to win one of two $500 Credit Union Cash prizes

    • Save $2,000 by October 31, 2026 → Enter the grand prize draw

  • Save more than the set target to earn a higher interest rate on your savings for the period of the challenge

Before joining the Save It & Win It Challenge, please take a moment to review the full terms and conditions. These outline how the challenge works, eligibility, prize details, and account requirements to ensure a smooth experience for all participants.

Key Dates to Remember

  • January 31, 2026 – Last day to qualify for the $10 sign-up bonus

  • April 30, 2026 – Mid-point savings target ($1,000) & bonus eligibility

  • May 18, 2026 – Mid-point prize draw

  • July 31, 2026 - Last chance to enter the competition and qualify for the grand prize

  • October 31, 2026 – Final savings target ($2,000)

  • November 17, 2026 – Final prize draw

FAQs

  • This special Share ID account will be added to your member account information at the teller point when you come into any of our branches to make your first deposit. You can also speak to a member experience representative at any of our three branches in: Fairchild Street, Bridgetown, Northern Business Centre, Speighstown or Southern Shopping Complex in Oistins.

  • Yes you can but it is not advisable. If you withdraw money before you meet the minimum savings threshold of $2000, you will become ineligible for the prizes and bonus. If you save more than the $2000 threshold and you withdraw funds that cause your account total to dip below the $2000 threshold you will also lose your chance to get the bonus or be entered into the prize draw.

  • You will be able to access your funds immediately after the promotion ends. S20 account is a short term account. Therefore all saved funds will be transferred to your desired regular member account after the challenge. If you do not specify which account you prefer, the fund will be transferred to a SMARTBuilder account which has a minimum balance of $500 or to the basic membership prime account, if the funds saved are below $500.

  • Yes!. You will be able to track your savings all through the savings challenge using the AffinityPlus Banking App or online banking portal.
