Detailed Terms & Conditions
1. Promotion Period:
The promotion runs from September 30, 2025, to September 30, 2026 (the “Promotion Period”).
2. Eligibility:
Participants must be a member of AffinityPlus Credit Union Limited (the “AffinityPlus Credit Union” or “AffinityPlus”).
Participants must be eighteen (18) years or older and residents of Barbados.
Participants must open a “Save It & Win It S20 Challenge Account” (the “Savings Challenge”), which will offer a guaranteed interest rate of 2.5% for the Promotion Period.
The interest rate will revert to the lower account interest after September 30, 2026
Participants must join the Savings Challenge up to July 31, 2026, but will only be eligible to win the prizes and bonuses still available up to the time of signing up.
Employees of AffinityPlus Credit Union are not eligible to participate in this S20 Challenge.
3. Savings Requirements:
1. To qualify for prizes, Participants must:
a. Save at least $300 by December 31, 2025, to qualify for the sign up bonus.
b. Save at least $1,000 by March 31, 2026, to enter the mid-point draw and earn the $50 bonus.
c. Save at least $2,000 by September 30, 2026, to enter the final draw
2. Funds for the Savings Challenge cannot be transferred from an existing AffinityPlus Credit Union account.
3. Once the set savings challenge minimum amount of $2000 is met, this total must remain in the S20 Savings challenge account throughout the Promotional Period. Withdrawals before the target achievement of $2000 or that result in the balance falling below the set $2000 target at any time, will disqualify participants from receiving bonuses and being eligible for the stated prize draws.
4. Prizes:
1. Mid-Point Draw (April 15, 2026): Two eligible challengers will be randomly selected to receive $500 in Credit Union Cash each.
2. Final Draw (October 15, 2026): Eligible challengers will be randomly selected to win one of the following prizes:
a. Grand Prize: A trip for two (2) to Panama* (inclusive of flight and hotel accommodation) (see additional conditions below).
b. Deluxe Prize: $1,500 Credit Union Cash.
c. Bonus Prizes: Two winners will each receive $500 Credit Union Cash.
3. Once a winner is selected for an end of challenge prize starting with the grand prize, they will be ineligible for the remaining prizes.
4. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. In case of unforeseen circumstances, prizes may be substituted with items of equal or greater value.
5. Bonus Perks:
Participants who sign up and deposit a minimum of $300 by December 31, 2025 will receive a $10 sign up bonus
Participants who achieve the six (6) month savings goal of $1,000 by March 31, 2026 will receive an additional $50 bonus.
Bonuses will be credited within four (4) weeks of the stated savings deadlines.
6. Account Details & Restrictions:
At the end of the Promotion Period, the interest rate will revert to normal levels and funds should be transferred to another Credit Union account of choice within three (3) months of the challenge closing. If Participants do not specify their preferred transfer account by December 31, 2026, funds will be automatically transferred to the SMARTBuilder account ($500 minimum balance) or their Membership Prime account based on the total saved funds.
To be eligible for prizes and perks, once the set savings challenge minimum amount of $2000 is met, this total must remain in the S20 Savings challenge account throughout the Promotional Period. Withdrawals before the target achievement of $2000 or that result in the balance falling below the set $2000 target at any time, will disqualify participants from receiving bonuses and being eligible for the stated prize draws.
Once a challenge account has been opened, it cannot be closed, or funds cannot be transferred until after the Promotional Period has closed, without the express permission of Credit Union management.
Early withdrawals, account closures, or fraudulent activity (e.g., depositing and immediately withdrawing funds) will result in disqualification from perks, bonuses and prize draws and any money earned will be forfeited.
7. Draws and Winner Selection:
Prize draws will be conducted by April 15, 2026 (mid-point prizes), and October 15, 2026 (final prizes).
Winners will be selected randomly from eligible Participants who meet the savings criteria.
AffinityPlus Credit Union will notify winners by phone and/or email.
8. Travel Prize Details & Disclaimer:
The Grand Prize trip will feature at least a 4-day, 3-night experience and will be booked through a qualified local travel agent. It will be subject to availability and airline/hotel terms and conditions.
Once selected, the Grand Prize winner will be given the available travel date options within four (4) weeks following the prize draw. The travel date must be accepted/ confirmed by the prize recipient within six (6) weeks of the options being shared. If the prize winner is unable to facilitate the options available, within this stated period, then an alternative winner will be selected.
Winners are responsible for securing valid travel documents, including passports and visas. If these cannot be provided to facilitate proposed travel dates (at least 3 months before expected travel), then a new winner will be selected.
AffinityPlus Credit Union is not responsible for travel restrictions, health protocols or unforeseen travel delays.
9. Liability and Taxes:
AffinityPlus Credit Union is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damages associated with the prizes.
The Grand Prize trip is subject to airline and hotel terms and conditions.
All taxes and/or duties associated with prizes are the sole responsibility of the winners.
10. Data Privacy:
Participants’ personal information will be used solely for the administration of the promotion.
Data will be stored securely and in compliance with Barbados’ data protection laws.
By participating, members consent to the collection and processing of their data for this promotion.
Participants have the right to opt out of receiving marketing material unrelated to this promotion.
Winners who accept the stated prizes must agree to the use of their first and last name, and photos for challenge related promotional purposes without additional compensation.
11. Accessibility Clause:

12. Feedback Clause:
Participants are encouraged to provide feedback on their savings journey through a post-promotion survey, which AffinityPlus Credit Union may use to improve future promotions.
13. General Terms:
AffinityPlus Credit Union reserves the right to amend or cancel the promotion at any time without prior notice.
In the event of disputes, the decision of AffinityPlus Credit Union will be final.
