 How to Send & Receive Funds

Send funds to AffinityPlus

  • Use your AffinityPlus account number to set up RTP transfers at participating banks or credit unions. You can also share your account number with individuals who need to send you money.

  • Funds are sent instantly to your Membership Prime (SO) account

  • Use our SMARTNet Online Banking Portal or App to track or transfer funds to another AffinityPlus savings account

  • Track and make internal transfers using the SMARTNet Online Banking Portal or app

 Send Funds to Other FIs

  • Use our SMARTNet Online Banking Portal or App to send funds to accounts at other financial institutions

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Funds are transferred instantly (within seconds). Both the sender and receiver should see the transaction reflected in their balances immediately.

  • Members can enjoy RTP transfers at no charge, making real-time payments even more convenient.

  • Barbados Public Workers Cooperative Credit Union and City of Bridgetown Cooperative Credit Union,  as well as all the banks in Barbados .except for the Royal Bank of Canada.

  • Simply log in to your SMARTNet Online Banking platform via the website or the mobile app. Use the “Transfer” feature to send funds to an external account at any RTP-enabled institution.

  • Because Real Time Payments settle instantly, transactions cannot be automatically reversed and are not guaranteed. So you should verify your transfer details and always send a small test amount to ensure you have the information correct.

    If you make an error, contact AffinityPlus immediately at rtp@affinityplusbb.com or call our PBX at 436-5600 for your best chance at rectification.

  • Yes. The daily transfer limit for AffinityPlus members is $5,000BDS. You will be unable to transfer more than this amount in any 24-hour period
